WOODMOOR MUSIC

Welcome to the WM Music Community! We are delighted to have your family join us as we explore and grow through music together.

Our music program provides students with meaningful opportunities to explore, create, and connect through music. Our overall goal is to build music literacy and performance skills through singing, listening, instrument playing, movement, music games, and creative activities. Through these experiences, students develop musical understanding, build confidence, and strengthen important social skills such as teamwork and collaboration, all while experiencing the joy of making music.

Volunteer Opportunities
We value the role that families play in a child’s musical development. We encourage parents and guardians to volunteer their time and talents to support our music program—whether by sharing their musical skills, introducing music from their cultural heritage, or assisting during events or in the classroom. Your involvement enriches our community and broadens our students’ musical experiences.

Communication
We welcome open communication and invite you to reach out to our music department with any questions, concerns, or ideas. You may contact us by email or via ParentSquare messages. We will also share our upcoming events and activities through ParentSquare to keep you informed. We are here to partner with you in ensuring a positive and enriching musical experience for your child.

Dolphin Choir
This is an exciting opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students to explore their love of music, build confidence, and perform together as a team. Throughout the year, choir members share their hard work through performances that bring our school community together. Please look out for directions on how to sign up at the beginning of each year.
