Hour of Code is happening again this year at Woodmoor (virtually), Dec. 7 - 11! The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to show kids the basics and that anyone can code if they are willing to be problem-solvers! Annually the District provides parents/guardians with notification of forms that must be acknowledged. These forms have moved online this year.
The state has partnered with Ziply Fiber and Comcast/Xfinity to create Washington’s K–12 Internet Access Program, which gives eligible families free internet access so your student can connect to online learning from home.
Asynchronous learning during power or internet outages is expected; attendance will be determined based on student or family evidence of participation in asynchronous activities.
