Our focus in the health room includes maintaining a healthy learning environment, teaching independent health habits, and supporting the psychological and physical well being of our students, families, and staff.

We provide the following services:

  • Basic vision and hearing screenings
  • Immunization and disease monitoring
  • Injury and illness care during school
  • Administering medication
  • Health education
  • Resources and referrals

About Nurse Katrina (RN, BSN)

Graduated from Univ. of VA, then worked at Children's Hospital in Washington, DC in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Since then has worked in a variety of Nursing Roles. Has worked at Woodmoor since 2002.  Lives in Bothell with husband Victor, has 3 children.
 
Our goal in the health room is to keep kids healthy and in the classroom, coming along side of families to help them in this process.  We are here to help you find community resources and help you manage any health issues your student might have. Feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns or suggestions!

Graduated from Univ. of Colorado, Beth-El College of nursing and health sciences. Since then has worked in a variety of Nursing Roles. Has worked at Woodmoor since 2011.  Lives in Kirkland with husband Peter and has 2 children.
